OWHAEOA.
In tbe Smile of Fortune the tributers
are keeping the 15 bead going night and - day on good payable stone. They are -crushing 8 feet; they have some very nice picked stone and a few specimens on hand. From what I have heard they ■re likely to hare a big return before their tribute expiresin October next. The Lucky Hit boys hare but 50 tons, which they consider good for an ponce to the ton. The several parties of Cributers in the Radical are all on what they consider payable stone. Harvey and his mate, after prospecting for some months in what they considered no man's land, and baring found payable stone, are told to turn out—which they refused to do, and I hear the Warden has taken step to have the ground forfeited, The population is gradually increasing and a large, amount of interest is being taken in the coming elections, both for the County and the Assembly.
