Since then, the reef has improved considerably, and this morning in breaking down, 15lbs of picked stone, showing gold, were obtained. The news arrived to-day from this mine, that gold-bearing quartz of a,very rich, character had been obtained by the tributers. The pieces broken oat are said to be of large size, and one of our informants described them as " rocks,"
