RESIDENT MAGISTRATE'S COURT
THIS DAY. (Before H. Kenrick, Esq., R.M.) BREACH OF BEGULATIONS. W. J. McKee's case was called on for judgment, in giving which, His Worship said he had looked up several authorities on the subject, and they all agreed that gambling was playiug at any game for money, or moneys worth. The defendant i would be fined 30s, and costs, but if anysimilar cases were brought before him ho would certainly inflict • a Substantial penalty. : Court adjourned.
