NEW PLYMOUTH.
This day,
Information from Rahotu has just been received, and is as follows:—Yesterday about four hundred Maoris in batches of fifties, resumed fencing at Waithai. The Constabulary from Pungarehu marched up under arms, and pulled the fence down. The Maories hissed and booted, and then dispersed. No prisoners were taken. The Maories have pulled up a large number of pegs on the block offered for sale, and have stacked them promiscuously in different lines, or demolished them altogether.
