A serious accident occurred this morning* on the Melbourne and Hawthorn railway near Jolimount. A tire of one of the wheels broke while the traiu was proueediug between .Richmond and Jolituouut, when the engine and all the carriages left the rails at the station gates of the latter place. Home of the carriages capsized, aud several passengers were iujmtd, soiuo pf them seriously.
