IVERCARGILL.
This day,
Downright winter has prevailed for the last three days, and there has been succession of cold and high winds from the north and east, bringing with them a heavy fall of snow and ram. Out door work is entirely suspended, and many of the low lying streets are flooded. The ground is covered with snow, and the glass is at 28*6 with a downward tendency.
