QUEEN OF BEAUTY.
The contracts for the repair of the County water raca at the Karaka and JH ape Creeks were finished some time yesterday, and the Maunga-Kirikiri Creek turned into the race. Though this body of water will not be sufficient to supply the batteries, it enabled the Queen of Beouty pump to start this afternoon.
