The final cleaning up for this mine took place at the company's battery yesterday, and the amalgam was retorted to day, the return being 186ozs gold. 198 loads of general dirt, besides specimens, was put through for this yield during the past fortnight. It musl not, however, be thought that this would be the general run of crushings if the mine was to start again. As this being the last crushing, no doubt the manager has tried to get as good a return as possible.
