Albany, July 19. The P. and O. Coy's, steamship Malwa, with the English mails, dated London June 17, anived at King George's Sound this mon ing from Galle. Melboubnb, This day. Sailed : Yesterday afternoon, the Union Company's steamship Rotomahana, for the Bluff. Sydney, This day. The Commercial Banking Co. of Sydney has d( clarrd a dividend for the past half year at the rate of 25 per cent, per annum. £10,000 is added to the Reserve Fund, and £10,837 is carried to next account. Mr P. B. Walker, Assisfant Superintendent of Telegraphs, has made a donation of £500 for the foundation of bursaries to assist poor students at the University. One-half of the amount to be reserved for female students.
