Wellington, This day. The House met at 2.30.

In the House to day Sir George Grey Grey gave notice' to introduce a bill to regulate the admission of persons entitled to practice in Courts of Law.

A report of the Public Accounts Committee on Dr Pollen's petition was brought up by Mr Stevens, and a motion made that it and minutes of proceedings tie printed. It was then moved that 1 the report be taken into consideration on Thursday at 7.30. '

Mr Mjntgomery objected that it was a private members' day, and suggested that Government should give it Friday. Mr Hall said two days a week was little enough tor the Government business.

Mr Ward thought unless the matter was considered on Thursday it would be burked altogether,
