The former will probably have an interim retorting tomorrow, but the latter hare only just commenced to crush. They are getting their stuff from an old mullock tip, and as there is very little expense, a yield of about 3dwts will repay them.— Bull's battery started this morning on a crushing of 20 tons for Landers and party, of the Spero Meliora.—Queen of Beauty: The full force of this battery has been employed for the last few days on Old Golden Calf stone, which promises to yield about an ounce to the ton.—Alburnia: Clarke and party have finished crushing, and will probably retort to-day. —At the Moanatairi Gordon and Jlobertson are crushing. Whisker's parcel of 9 tons yielded 43ozs 13dwts retorted gold. —At the ICuranui Hill Gribble and party's crashing of 7 tons produced 3ozs 14dwts, and one of 10 loads for Jury and party 36ozs 17dwts. GOLD EETUENB. New North Devon.—The manager banked 14ozs 7dwta gold to-day, the result of two trial crushings from the Whan level.

Tb Papa.—Frearson and party have finished crushing for the return of 23ozs Bdwts melted gold.

Waitekaubi. —Hollis' return of 622£ ozs of retorted gold from this mine was melted at the Bank yesterday. It lost lOSOZS in weight in the process.
