This day. At a meeting of the creditors yesterday of Daniel Clayton, it was held that the claims preferred amounted to or*r £20,000, the New Zealand Insurance
Company being the largest, with ov»r £13,000. It whs stated the debtor was at ; present in Sydney. John McElhenay was killed by a train on the Caversham road running over him. Deceased, who was drunk, attempted to cross the line right in front of the car, which was going only a mile an hour.
