The .five tons of quartz, from the Prospectors' will reach the Owharoa mill within this week if the weather keeps at all fine, and in the opinion of a competent authority it will yield Cat least sois per ton. In the Young Colonial the level is at present in 100 feet, and the work is still being pushed on vigorously. -About 100 feet hat- not been driven on the course of the reef in the Dulcibel, and good prospects have been obtained from all the tests made. The Waitete shareholders have in the tunnel 100 feet, and are now ■; considering the advisability of conamenc- ; ing a lower level, in order to test the ground more satisfactorily.
