London, Jane 13. The Land Bill. In the House of Commons, the con* sideration of the Irish Land Bill in Committee was resumed on the 9th instant, after the Whitsun recess, and has con* tinued at each day's sitting since that day. London, June 14. In the House of Commons last night in the course of the debate on the Irish Land Bill, the Bight Hon. W. E. Gladstone made a speech in which he remouttrated against the action of the Opposition towards the Bill, and hinted that Government was prepared if necessary, to demand urgency in order to to ensure its speedy passage through Committee. Pauis, June 13. Intelligence has been recieved from Algeria that an engagement has taken place between the French troops and a body of Algerian iusurgents. The latter were totally defeated, with a loss of fifty killed.
