Tins aay. Sir George Grey at the Theatre
Royal. The Theatre Koyal was crowded to orer. flowing last night to hear Sir Geo. Grey. The speech fellowed a good deal the same ground as was corered at the Thames, the only two new points being a proposal for Colonial Federation, by passing resolutions in the Oglonial Legislature upon matters before the English Parliament, and a proposal that Auckland should petition the Imperial Gorenlraent to send the Flying Squadron with the Prince's sens aboard to Auckland, as well as to Wellington.
It has transpired that Janies Quinlan shipped as tireuiau aboard the Tararua at
P»rt Chalmers. He leaves a widowed mothei in Auckland destitute, he baring supported her for yea"- He was unmarried.
