This day,
Very little evidence of any moment was elicited during the hearing of the murder case at the B.M. Court, and after the Magistrate had cautioned the prisoner in the usuel way, McGuhey said he had nothing to say, except that he was.innocent, and that he would reserve his defence. He was committed to take his trial at the next crim'nel sessions at Hokitika.
