(Before H. Kenrick, Esq., R.M.) LEYIAON V. CtIDWBLL.
This case which was in part heard yesterday, and was to recover the amount of a promissory note for £22 7s, backed by the defendant. The defendant admitted signing the note, but it was to acoomodate a person named Johnston. The Magistrate ordered payment within two months. Court adjourned.
