Thames Harbour Board.
The usu?l monthly meeting of the Board was held yesterday afternoon. Mr Bagunll presided, and there were also preseut Messrs McGowan, Carpenter, Wilson, and Osborae. Mr O. Garrett wrot3 resigning his office, of magazine keeper. The resignation was accepted, and an application for the appointment opened from Mr W. 11. Crick. It was decided to publicly cell for applications. j The report of the Harbor Master was read and adopted. The Secretary mentionfd that £231 j was due to the* Board for rents. The Government owed £'50, and the Moanatairi G.M.Co. £26. On the motion of Mr Wilson it was resolved that notice be given that if the money is not paid in 14 days, legal proceedings will be taken. It was resolved to inform Messrs Fraser and Tinne that the Burke street wharf goods shed was now the property of the Board, and they would require a rent of £20 per annum. The Chairman report? i that the Bank declined to give them an advance with which to repair the Goods Wharf. The meeting then terminate.
