The ordinary halt-yearly meeting of the shareholders of. the Bank of New South Wales was held here to day, to receive the report of the directors for the half year onded 31st March. The balance sheet showed that the profits for the half year amount to £93,066, to which has to be added the balance carried forward from the previous half year of £2523, giving the total available for division of £95,589. The following appropriations were recommended to the payment of a dividend at the rate of 15. per cent, per annum, £12,500; carried to the reserve fund, £5000; leaving the balance to be carried forward of £3089. The report was adopted by the meeting.
