TAURANGA.

This day. The Native Lands Court, now sitting at Gisborne, passed the Maungahu block of 100,000 acres, and the Waipu block No. 2, 37,000 acres, both in this district. They bare been sold to Robfc Cooper. The Tauranga County Council yesterday passed resolution to proceed to sell all absentee lands two years in arrears of rates. This will bring a large area of good land into market. Settlers are getting impatient at hearing nothing from the Public Works Department about the much needed Hirinui bridge.
