Launch of the Patiki.
The steamer built by Price Bros., for the Thames Navigation Company was successfully launched this morning in the presence of a large number of persons. Upon the word being given the steamer moved easily off her ways, when the little daughter of Mr A. Price named her the Patiki. She looks well in the water, and without ballast or cargo, draws 12 inches of water forward and 21 inche* aft. Capt. Moore was in charge, and moved her about the harbor with skill and ability s showing to advantage her good' qualities; The machinery worked moafc satisfactorily, and altogether the boat merits the anticipations of her builders and the directors of the company for whom she was constructed. Mr Nancarrow, Government inspector of machinery was present at the trial, and expressed himself thoroughly satisfied.
