Prospecting the King Country.

Sometime ago an article appeared in the Te Aroha Miner and was reprinted in the Star concerning some overtures which the Native King was making to Hone Werahiko concerning the prospecting of the Upper Waikato aud Tuhua districts. We learn that quite lately Hone has received.a pressing invitation from Te Fgakau, the dusky Premier to attend the great meeting afc Hikurangi on the 26th, of the present month. The natives are evidently taken with Johnny's proposal, and if there is a man in New Zealand who can with a chance of success prospect the Iking Country, that man is tfre hardy prospector of Te Aroha. Johnny combines shrewdness and sagacity with good practical knowledge, and we will watch with interest for the result of his visit to his sable majesty's dominions.
