The manager's report states :—" No. 3 level: No. 5 lode in the stopes was very small last week, owing to the ground being very tight. lam through it now, and the lode is making' large and will crush better this week. No. 4 and branch leader: In the stopes have also been smaller, and not crushing quite as well.as last few days. The return for this month will not be quite as good as last month, without I get a little picked stone to help the general dirt. No. 2 level: lam opening up a small block of ground in the hanging-wall of No. 4. Some of these small leaders might carry up 20 feet above the level. The dirt is crushing veiy weM, but it is difficult to get."
