The Diorama.
There was again a capital attendance at the Theatre .Royal last evening, all parts of the House being well filled- The scenes were shown in a very pleasing manner, and appeared to give every satisfaction to the audience. Lieut. Herman, as usual, went through his ventriloquial entertainment with the aid of his various lay figures and a lad from amongst the audience, and was very successful indeed^ in all the feats he attempted—in fact, it is a long| t^e since such a talented ventriloquist was on the Thames. As usual, the presents distributed were on a very liberal scale, aud
should certainly be satisfactory to recipients. Tonight is to be the people's night; when'an extra number of gifts will be distributed. The suite of furniture is to be of a better quality than previous ones, being manufactured by our townsman—Mr Dann.
