The Legislative Assembly at rising last night adjourned until Wednesday next. The Age to-day in a leading article comments in angry terms upon the action of the Legislative Council in declining to consider the Eeform Bill. The Argus also disapproves of the shelving of the Eeform Bill question, and says that the country expects that the same should be decided on its merits.

Wheat, ex warehouse, 51s; New Zealand, ex ship, 46s ; Adelaide flour, ex warehouse, 345; Australian tallow without quotable change. At the wool sales to-day, 7,500 bales were offered and tone of market remains firm.;

The German corvette Hertha sailed from this port for Auckland on Monday last.
Superintendent Nicholson has stated before the Police Board of Enquiry that the total cost of searching for the Eellys was £22,225.
