In the case of Clark,v. Bradlaugh, an action brought against the member for Northampton for illegally taking his seat in the House of Commons, judgment has been given for the plaintiff on the main question. Since the decision, Mr Bradlaogh has absented himself from the House. The Government has given notice of its intention to more t'iat a new writ be issued for Northampton. Mr Bradlaugh offers to.resign his seat, and seek re election.
