TOKATEA.

The report of the mine manager of the Tokatea for the week is as, follows : —The week's driving in tbe number 7 level has been unusually hard, especially since Tuesday last, when we cut a large cross reef running at ■ right angles with the main leader, and carrying a strong south westerly underlie of three feet in six, we passed through this reef to-day into good working country. The Tokatea main leader still keeping its' course, although rather broken about the junction of the latter and the large reef. The level has been driven 21 feet durine the week which brings tho face within about 25 feet of the underlie of Bismarck winze. Water is flowing from the cross reef, but main leader continues dry.— Thode's party is sending about.3o tons to the Bismarck bAttrry, which is expected to yield about 45ozs of gold.
