The manager reports:—" Last week's run showed that'the westward workings are not payable, and they are accordingly suspended. The yield from the east side is poor enough, but very regular, being a shade over half an ounce per ton. If, however, I can trace this lorle nearer the surface, I expect a better average, and a larger quantity of payable quartz "
