Match No. 15—Carbine Company's Trophy.

Conditions same as in JKifle Match No. 14, with the exception of the ranges, which were 200,400, and 500 yards. The Carbine Company's Trophy was won by Hood, of the Nelson Artillery, with 76; Laird, Alexandra Capolry, socond,7s; Armstrong, Thames Navals, third, 73.

The other scores were—McKenzie, Wellington, 72; A. Dixon, Wellington, 70; Bayne, Auckland, 69; Thompson Dunedin, 64; McLeod. Wairoa, 63.

Match 3sTo. 19—Consolation— Any Member.

200, 300, and 400 yards. Seven shots at each range. Open to any member of the Association who has entered for at least two of the foregoing matches, and who has not won a prize at this meeting. Any large bore muzzle or breech-loading rifle or carbine. Entrance fee, 2s 6d. Notice will be posted on the board when entries close for this match. PRIZES. £5 to be given by the Association, and three-fourth entries to be apportioned by the Ccmmittee prior to the commencsmeut of the match.

For the above match the Committee have not yet fixed the prize list. The twenty highest scorers in the Match are : —Sharland, .Nelson, 74; Wilson, OtagO, 72; Marshall (Otago), Mackenzie (Wellington, Randal (Wellington), each 71 ; Wallis (Otago), Howe (Wellington), Kendall (Tharno), Gibben (Nelson), Armstrong (Wellington), c ich 70; P. Okey, Taranaki, 69 ; Trayes (Auckland), Taifc (Wellington), Brownlow (Thames), Colemnn (Waimea), each 68; Harkness (Nelson), 67; Taylor (Auckland), Hogg (Marlborough), Hales (Wellington), Bannister (Wellington), each 66.

This event brought the meeting to a close, with tl\o exception of the Carbine Match Norili v. 6outh, which will come off to-morrow morning. The prizes will be distributed to-morrow afternoon, in the town.

The match JNorth v. South will be fired tomorrow. It will be a gift to the North. The small bores will also be finished to morrow.
