The following doy the following: answer appeared in the colamns of the<same journal:—" If the puppy answering to the name of 'Melbourne,' who advertised in last night's Star for lady with claret velvet Siat *nd waterproof cloak, will meet her at the Telewaph Office at 8 o'clock this evening, he will revive the whipping his habitual impertinence merits." lb is needless to cay the polite" invitation was not accepted.
