THE TE AROHA MURDER.
Te Ahoha, This day, 10 a.m
The spur, the discovery of which I mentioned in my last letter, has been proved not to be the one worn by Himiona on the night of the murder.
Procofi'y's case will not come ofi till Friday.
The Catran Bros., fearing that they might get into trouble with the natives left for the Waikuto on Thursday morning. I notice that the Auckland Star makes an ample apology for the statement that they had been arrested for complicity in the murder.
In our last we noted the arrival of Mr N. Kenny, for the purpose of making a plan of the scene of the murder. It appears that Mr T. G. Sandes had already made a plan, so that Mr Kenny's mission was rendered fruitless.—Miner.
