Infectious Diseases.

We regret to have to record a serious case of typhoid fever in Grahamstown, and one of measles on the Beach road, We have before called the attention of the authorities in plain language to the necessity of attending to the sanitary condition of the township. When w'll the nuisance in Kirkwood street be abated ? Why have the Borough authorities not brought some person to answer for it before the Magistrate? Is it because there is a divided authority at the Government Buildings that a nuisance of this character is to be tolerated? We must insist upon some steps being taken in this matter.
