The Army Estimates in the new Budget are twenty millions. The new Ballot Act, if passed, throws the cost of elections on the electors. Blanqui, the French Communist, is dead.
The students of Berlin on the new year mobbed the Jews. The feeling was high on both sides. The Government will take strong measures to prevent outrages.
The Porte is purchasing arms. War with Greece is deemed inevitable.
Great destruction has been caused in North Brabant, Holland, through the bursting of the dykes.
