Harbor Board.

The annual meeting of the above Board was held this morning. At 12 o'clock the only member present was Mr Osborne, who is remarkable for his punctuality in attending public meetings. Mr Bagnall came next, followed at short intervals by His Worship the Mayor and MrLeydon. One was still wanting to make a quorum, and the Borough Messenger was all round the town in search of the defaulting members.

■ At ten minutes past twelve the Mayor asked, " Would not the Harbour Board annual meeting lapse after 12 o'clock?" The Town Clerk : "No, we shall not let the meeting lapse." ? After a long time Councillor Wilson put in an appearance, and the business was proceeded with. The minutes of the previous anpual meeting were read and confirmed.
