BIG PUMP.

The Big Pump still continues to work all right, and hag now drained the 4CDft. level, which was visited to-day by the Manager, Mr W. 11. Phillips. He reports that the level has sustained no injury from the water, and that it is now quite free of gas, there being quite a draught of air. The valves were all shifted to-day, and the cistern was also cleaned out. "
