A meeting of the general committee of the Glab was held last night, Mr D. 8,. Gellion in the Chair.

The minutes of the previous meetings of committee were read by the Secretary, Mr Lawless, and also minutes of the meeting of the stewards. In the latter minutes reference was made to the matter jof the Hurdle Kace, in which it was , alleged that the jockey of Venus pulled ' the horse and allowed Akeake to win.
