Tararu School.
The breaking up of this school took place this forenoon. The first sight that struck us on entering the school building was .the magnificent array of prizes awaiting distribution. Mrs Fraser kindly attended, end made the presentations. Messrs Staadman, Wolff, Nolan, and others were also present. The children under the eonductorship of Mr Grigg sang aereral songs, and concerted pieces in excellent style. They were also exercised by him in singing from signa given by his hand. In this difficult practice the children acquitted themselves remarkably well. The girls were then formed up for calis thenio drill under Mr Barlow, and the boys were also put through a variety of feats on the gymnastic apparatus in the play ground. Our space forbids insertion of the long list of prizes.
