This day. The charge of murder against Tula is still occupying the Court, and 20 witnesses have yet to be examined. It is not likely that the case will conclude until tomorrow. A further sale of land on the Waimate Plains took place yesterday. The sale was under the deferred payment system. 81 applications were received at Hawera, j every section being applied for except ! section 1 of block 5, and only five sections had one applicant.
