WELLINGTON.
This day. A German named L. Dicksted, a watchmaker was drowned early this morning, lie was near the edge of the breastwork, and shortly after, calls for help were heard, but he sank before he could be rescued. An inquest will be held. The cause of the attempt to destroy himself is supposed to be through his inability to obtain work.
