Special Meeting of the County Council.
A special meeting of the above was held in the Couuty Chambers at noon for the purpose of electing a Chairman for the ens ring year. Cr Carpenter proposed that the meeting stand aJjourned tor seven days. Cr Bagnali seconded. ' This was carried by a majority of 4 to 3. The votes in favor of the adjournment were Councillors Carpenter, Bagnall, Coutts and Thorburt), and those agaiast were Crs Porter. Greenville and Deeble. The meeting then adjourned.
