Prospectors' Claim, Te Aroha.
FORMATION OF A COMPANY.
At a meeting of the shareholders of the Te Aroha Prospectors' Claim yesterday, the following were present—Messrs Porter, McSweeney, Vanghan, Healey, T. L. Mnrray, James Frater, and sereral others were represented by proxy. After some discussion, it was decided to form a company of 12.0C0 Bhares, 6003 to be allotted to the public at 7s 6d—6s to go the promoters, and the balanoe to be placed to the credit of the company for working expenses. ■ This will gire the shareholders £1800 for half the claim, and leare £460 for working expenses. Mr F. A. White was appointed legal manager and it was decided to place 2090 shares on the Thames market, and allot 4000 to Auckland and Waikato. Immediately after the meeting all the Thames shares were allotted with the exception of 75, and this morning the applications were greatly in excess of the number for disposal.
