Mexboubne, Monday. THE GOLD EOBBEEY.
It has been conclusively proved thai the £500 worth of missing gold was shipped on board the s.s. Tararua. Nothing further, however • is known. There aro no signs of tamperiug with the bullion room. The detectives are confident of discovering the robbers.

It is suspected that the missing box of gold was landed at the Bluff or Hobartown, but it has transpired that the duplicate key of the Tarawa's bullion room has been lost
