Presentation to Mr Kenny.
This afternoon a presentation of a complete set of surveyor's instruments was made to the late Sub-Inspector in charge of the' district (Mr Kenny) by Dr Kilgour in the- presence of a large number of the citizens and the members of the Police Foroe on the Thames-. The gift comprised a 5-icch theodolite, 10-inob dumpy level, leveling staff, steel band, set of drawing instruments, proportional compass, 8-inch metal protractor, 18 parallel ruler, and a binocular.. Besides the above presentation, Mr Kenny received some handsome presents for his wife from Detective , Farrell, comprising crystal Claret jugs, a Bohemian glass epergae add other handsome articles.
