AUCKLAND.
This day. Mr Moss before his Constituents.
The Board of Education in conference with the City School Committee to-day, resolved to diminish.the floor space in the schools to eight feet each child, in view of the enforcement of the Compulsory Attendance Clauses.
At the Supreme Court, a new trial was applied for in the case, Bank of New South Wales versus Royal Insurance Company. The application was granted.
Mr Moss made a strong speech in favor of local Government at Parnell last night, and received on unanimous vote of thanks and confidence.
