MOANATAIRI.
The following is the mine manager's weekly report .—-Tunnel level: Nonpareil cross-cut is now 15 feet past the shaft, and the country is more promising forreefs; and gold than any we have yet driven through, as there? are other reefs to intersect, J purpose to push the drive forward for at least another fortnight before starting to rise. Mowing Star drive: The leader here is six inches thick and still shows colors of gold. Another shift will now be put on to push the drive home to slide, in Order to open tip ground for stoping. Golden Age rise does not ■how any change; 20 tons of stuff from here will be tested next week, and only one shift will be employed in this rise for a few weeks, until the Morning Star drive is home to slide. 150 feet level, south cross-out; Another leader (No. 3), 4 inches thick, has been intersected, and No. 1 leader has a very promising appearance for gold, but last breaking down did not show anything. North west cross-cut at this level is being cleaned out, in order to get under the winze sunk on footwall ©f No 3 reef. The output of ituff from stopes this week is showing about the usual average.—Robt. Comb.
