CALEDONIAN.
The Young American lode is ioeking first class,. being three feet thick, and showing excellent mineral indications and a little gold, especially in the small leaders feeding the walls. Several pounds ot picked stone have been obtained during the last few days. . The contractors driving on the lode at No. 3 level are making fair progress, and the quartz shows a slight improvement.
