A grand demonstration of the Trades and Friendly Societies will take plaoe at the Exhibition. The Stramss Band performed at the Exhibition yesterday, and attracted a large audience.

It is considered that the entries for the forthcoming races are very much below expectation.

Wheat per bushel 4s 6d. The tone of the wheat market is very strong. Town flour is £10 5s to £10 10s; country, £9 5s to £9 10s.
