OUR MINES.
CALEDONIAN. The drive on the lode at No. ,3 level has been extended fifteen feet daring the week and a number of mineral veim have been found feeding the reef from both walls. Stoping has been fairly started at No. 2 level, and the crushing of a parcel of -30 tons commences to-morrow morning. NEW NORTH DEVON.
The manager reports that the onuhinff is shaping rather poorly, and that he will, clean up and retort tomorrow. There, i* nothing new of importance in the mine. SOUTHERN CROSS.
The manager intends to start crushing at the Alburnia mill on Monday, when it is probable between 20 and 30 loads will be put through.
BEtJBEN PABB. The manager intends tending the quartz from the Lincoln Castle lerel to the battery early next week. The reef is H thick and shows gold, to that there is a probability of it proving remunerative. The country in the hopper lerel is becoming more settled, and it if - expected the reef will soon be pioked up again.
LUCK'S ALL.
The tramway, hopper and shoots were finished and ready for the stowage of quartz yesterday. The is nothing fresh of moment in the mine.
GOLD RETURNS.
Mangan and party have finished crashing for the handsome yield of lllozi Bdwts gold.
