SCOTTISH BATTALION.

Prior to the general drill this fine body of men was inspected at their own drill halj. There were present Staff-Major Murray, Surgeon Callan, and Quarter* Master Symington. No. .1 Company— Capt. Comer, Lieuts. Johnstone and Brownlow; No. : 2 Company—Capt. Watson, Lieuts. Heron and Crump. The Major commanding announced that a number of ladies intended presenting a set of colors to the Battalion. The announcement was received with applause. It was also announced that a general church parade to the Presbyterian Church would take place next Sunday.
