. Calcutta, August 30. Progress of the War in Afghanistan. Intelligence has been received to-day that Khelat Ighilzai has been evacuated, and the British troops which formed the garrison there have joined the relieving force under General Roberts, who has continued his march towards Candahar. News -has also ■ been received that the Pathan tribe, who | recently attacked the British garrison at Kichtnahon, near the Bolan Pass, but were repulsed and severely punished, have now been disarmed by the force which was sent against them.
